Jr. Beta New Membership Drive The National Junior Beta Club recognizes outstanding achievement, promotes character and social responsibility, encourages service involvement to school and community, fosters leadership skills, grants, scholarships, and provides settings for your child to develop interpersonal relationship skills.
To join our local chapter at PJHS: --Complete the application survey and turn it in to Mrs. Jennifer Hull by Wednesday, August 19th. --Mrs. Hull will contact your teachers from the last school year via online survey and obtain teacher recommendations on both grades and behavior. --The sponsors and other committee members will take into consideration both your academic grades, teacher recommendations and what you complete on your survey to make a decision about whether you qualify to be in our Jr. Beta Club.
Once the decisions have been made, you may or may not receive an invitation letter to join the PJHS Jr. Beta Club. If you do not complete the survey and turn in the teacher recommendation forms, you will NOT be considered for invitation to the club. Once you have received the invitation letter, you will have until Wednesday August 31st to turn in your official dues of $20.00 for the first year of Jr. Beta. No dues, means you are not going to be initiated for this year. No exceptions can be made for this deadline, please be prompt in turning in the dues. This initial membership fee includes our t-shirt for this year, National dues, and our local club yearly dues. Please make checks payable to PJHS Jr. Beta Club.
Club meetings will be held every Wednesday during homeroom. Meetings during lunch and after school for Jr. Beta Officers and for Beta members that want to have more involvement.
